The Drag Queens on the Bus

Dragged On Board is a 1-hour romp around the best sights of London, on an open-top bus, with our most fabulous drag queens and kings. Our heels on wheels will keep you screaming with laughter and songs as we pass the favourite tourist attractions. Gone are the days of boring history lectures as you view something built in 1970 (the tour guide). Instead, we will be singing and performing our best songs in an interactive drag show on a bus, while we point out the sights.

Dolores Day

Dolores Day is a true lady of London. Confident of her stardom, she has sought out stage since she was a mewling babe. Even then, they say her screams were melodious. Let her sing to you, and we’ll let you decide whether you need ear plugs or not. Dolores has tongue of a jaded cat and the sass to match. She will soon have you glad she's not your mother as you quickly become one of her Daylings.

Wanda Whatever

Wanda Whatever is a loud and occult songstrxss, rabble rouser, medicine show maven, and doyenne of subversive delights. Their performance style is a unique array of grunge, rock, camp, Broadway, and/or underground, depending on what mood you catch them in, of which there are many. Wanda’s a regular performer at Dalston Superstore, The Glory, and other East London venues, and has performed at Bushwig NYC & Berlin, Sink the Pink, Cybil’s House, The Glory, Hardware Bar NYC, Industry NYC, a concert hall in Florida covered in humongous flamingos, and a bunch of other queer sh*t. They were a finalist in The Gold Rush Season 1 at The Glory, going on to win the Christmas edition. Creator, producer, and host of Fussy Party (The Yard Theatre & Bar) and Boulangerie: A Queer Variety Show (The Glory), they’re passionate about community and creating experimental and protected spaces for queer artists of all different backgrounds, gender identities, and artistic concentrations to share their work. Boulangerie: Home Delivery was nominated for “Time In Awards 2020" by Time Out London. You won’t know what’s hit you, but Whatever it is, you’ll like it.

The Sights You’ll See

When you go on a tour with a drag monarch, sights are not just merely seen, they’re illuminated in glittery glamour!

On this illuminating journey you’ll see a plethora of sights:

  • We’ll start off at the Theatre Royal Haymarket
  • Pass through the illuminating Piccadilly Circus
  • See Trafalgar Square
  • Shout at Downing Street
  • Swing by Westminster
  • Gander at the London Eye as we go over Westminster Bridge
  • Party down South of the river before we ride back over Tower Bridge
  • Wizz passed the Tower of London, the Shard and HMS Belfast as we party our way back to the start.

Where Will We Meet?

We’ll be meeting you at a bus stop outside The Theatre Royal Haymarket, where you can meet your other tour attendees while you wait for our Dragonic performers. Don’t be late the bus may leave without you.

Also make sure you’ve been the loo in advance the bus is an hour long and we don’t allow water sports. Feel free to bring alcohol on the bus, but avoid glass we might make you transfer it to tacky plastic cups.
